What is in our vending machines at ETHS?

The Nutrition Services Department strives to increase nutrient dense foods in all areas including our vending operation. It is the goal of the department to only stock items which meet the following criteria: 35% or less fat, 10% or less saturated fat and 35% or less sugar by weight. This is a nationally recognized criteria and one that we continue to strive for. As of SY10-11, 89% of items stocked in our vending machines meet this criteria.

All beverage machines meet the nutritional criteria set forth by the Alliance For a Healthier Generation and can be found at www.healthiergeneration.org.
